A single proprietorship company was set up in 2005 known as Agritop Marketing. Its line of business was in the trading of animal health and nutritional products. Product distribution was limited to serving small to medium-sized farms in Northern Luzon. After an impressive sales performance within a year, Agritop attracted some Chinese shareholders and forged a joint venture with . In April 2006, Agritop Marketing was officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as Agritop Corporation.
A believer in strategic planning, the members of the Board
commissioned a team of experts in the field to help craft
Agritop mission and vision statements, among other things. Now,
the organization has a better appreciation of its role in the
animal industry and that is to provide value added products that
will contribute to better efficiency and high production returns
for its customers. In line with this, Agritop has partnered with
